For more than twenty-five years KOOP has been carrying out national and international projects in research and development and on good practice dissemination. Recently, KOOP has been increasingly active in conducting both national and European-wide projects on the impact evaluation of OSH policies, strategies and laws. Prominent examples are the evaluation of the first period of the Joint German OSH Strategy (GDA-Dachevaluation) and various evaluation studies on the impact EU-OSH-Directives.
In the Baltic Sea region, KOOP helped to initiate the Baltic Sea Labour Network (BSLN) on social dialogue which became the Baltic Sea Labour Forum (BSLF) within the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS). BSLF is the cooperation body in the Baltic Sea region where trade unions, employer associations and representatives of the member states meet. KOOP has actively supported the BSN network activities for many years by providing information and by giving advise in joint research activities.
