| Kuopio Regional Institute of Occupational
Health and Lappeenranta Regional Institute of Occupational Health
together with the Kuopio Department of Labour Protection have conducted
training on occupational health and safety in the Republic of Karelia
from the year 1992 onwards. Some of the courses have been conducted
in collaboration with the Pitkäranta Pulp Mill.
